| KRÆKEN – The hydraulic expert software
In urban hydraulics, Kraken allows you to display, instrument and recover the optimal operating law of your works.
| Viewing
Kræken is the software that gives you the autonomy to solve your sewage network problems.
It uses the smooth particle hydrodynamics (SPH) modeling method. This technology solves the Navier & Stokes equations at each time step. Each simulation gives a video of the structure in operation.
Where mesh software will propose about ten free surfaces to build the overflow law, Kræken uses, on average, 6,000. Thus, your results are more reliable and closer to reality.
| Diagnosis
For each simulation, more than 6000 free surfaces are studied (compared to a dozen or so on 3D modeling software meshes).
Kræken provides you with the law that relates the water height and the studied flow to the adequate location of the sensor.
The software also provides you with detailed uncertainties on the law with the 95% confidence interval.

| Metrology
Deploy, secure or optimize the metrology of your structures.
Kæken includes an algorithm to detect the preferential zones for the implementation of a water level sensor. It is based on the following criteria
- for a given flow rate, the free surface at and around the measurement point is calm and constant
- for two different flows, the water level at the measuring point must change significantly
Therefore, you can quickly optimize the maintenance of your structures and ensure an optimal operation of your structures.
